I’m Anna. I study Linguistics and Digital Media & Communication at UC Berkeley, with a minor in Cognitive Science. Growing up in New Zealand while raised in a Chinese family taught me the value of perspective. I've learnt that my work starts with listening: how people tell their stories, what problems they bring up, where they hesitate, and what they need next.
I work across audience research, content strategy, and creative production, with a personal-channel audience of 200K+.
Some stories need words. Others need a well-timed kick.
I’ve represented New Zealand in wushu seven times and worked as a stunt double on Disney’s Mulan. These practice and edited sequences are separate from my film credits.

PERSONAL DETAILS
The meaning behind the art.
These motifs reflect how I hope to move through life: steadfast in what matters, flexible in how I meet the world.
梅花 Plum blossoms
Plum blossoms open in winter, bringing colour to a landscape held by cold. To me, they represent flourishing through life’s harshest seasons: taking its bitterness and turning it into something beautiful. Their beauty doesn’t erase the winter; it grows within it. They remind me to meet difficulty with resolve, while holding onto the warmth, tenderness, and character that make me who I am.
上善若水 Water
“The highest good is like water.” Water nourishes without competing and flows into places others overlook. To me, 上善若水 is a reminder to meet people with generosity and humility: to listen before assuming, stay open to different perspectives, and find another path when the first one closes. I hope to move through changing circumstances with that same openness, without losing my values.
银杏 Ginkgo
In Chinese culture, the ginkgo is associated with longevity and enduring strength. Long planted around temples, these trees connect generations through a living landscape. I grew up visiting a park where fallen ginkgo leaves painted the entire footpath yellow. For me, they bring that cultural meaning home: a reminder of my roots, the beauty of changing seasons, and what stays with us as we grow.
